You’re coming to the premiere of our season finale, “The Fellowship of Sarah Michelle Gellar,” right?

It’ll be the first time our show premieres on the big screen, and as part of the 2014 Inside Out LGBT Film Festival. Plus, it’ll be at TIFF Bell Lightbox, which is a state-of-the-art theatre in Toronto… and also a great drag name.

We’ll be there! Sexy gays will (probably) be there! And the WGC will be there!

Awesome sauce. Come on out. Sunday, June 1st at 3pm. Info is here and here.

Some love from the French blog Web Series Mag, who covered TO WebFest a few weeks back.

“Par exemple, Gay Nerds (de JP Larocque) pourrait bien aller dans la catégorie comédie tout court. C’est bourré de références et les épisodes parodient des émissions ou des séries de télévision. Ça part dans tous les sens et c’est toujours savoureux.”

They also included this awesome pic of Ryan Kerr.

We’ve volunteered at and attended this festival since we were baby gays, so to be included as part of this year’s line-up is a huge honour. Here is JP Larocque alongside fellow filmmakers Pat Mills and Austin Wong at the launch party on April 30th.

The screening is at 3:00pm, and will be the WORLD PREMIERE of our season finale, “The Fellowship of Sarah Michelle Gellar,” followed by a panel with the filmmakers at:

350 King Street West
Toronto, ON
M5V 3X5

Thanks for the love, folks! Whether you’re watching us on your desktops, laptops, phones or at festivals, we appreciate your support.

Some hometown festival love for GAY NERDS from the folks at Inside Out LGBT Film Festival. Come watch the premiere of our season finale “The Fellowship of Sarah Michelle Gellar” on June 1st! And stay for a panel featuring creator JP Larocque in provocative underwear.

“Inside Out is thrilled to present the who’s who of the finest LGBT web series on the Internet. The Web Series Showcase features both critically-acclaimed titles and highly-anticipated debuts. Special thanks to everyone at the festival, and to Mother Nature for creating such a glorious city.

“The team behind the hilarious Web series Gay Nerds has returned for a second season. Writer-director JP Larocque continues the geeky misadventures of adorkable Ralphie (Robert Keller) and Sam (Ryan Kerr), along with their gal pal Lana (Alexandra Wylie). The show’s distinctive blend of film and television parody and sharp view of gay geek culture is sure to put a smile on your face.”

Big love to Hope over at Geekpron (G33KPRON) for this fantastic write-up of our second season premiere!

“The first season, featuring slice-of-life parodies of Batman, Jurassic Park, Alien, Breakfast Club, and Silence of the Lambs featured quick witted dialogue and fantastic performances by the cast. I would also like to say, Gay Nerds is one of the highest-quality non-professional webseries I have ever seen in my entire life.”

WOW. Thank you. Check out the full article here.

Recently, GAY NERDS creator JP Larocque had the chance to sit down and interview some Toronto-based filmmakers for a piece on queer Canadian web series for the LGBT paper Daily Xtra!.

Check out the article here, which references Leslieville, Who the F**k is Nancy?, Out With Dad, Seeking Simone, Boystown, B.J. Fletcher: Private Eye, rihannaboi95 and GAY NERDS!
